Coachella Vibes

When you’d much rather be at Coachella than working a crazy Saturday shift. Next year, The Blissfully Chic will be in attendance at Coachella 2017, claiming it!

The Comeback Kids: Coach

Last week at work the Coach brand rep came to visit our store and give a presentation on their brand new Coach 1941 Heritage collection and I am now obsessed!

This year Coach is celebrating their 75th anniversary, they’ve gone back in their archive and have returned to the styles and designs we’ve all loved with great quality leather.

1941 Heritage

Since they brought in creative director Stuart Vevers the brand has really taken a modern turn. Coach now has a fresh Americana feel to it, from clothing to handbags, and even his new men’s collection has some very nice pieces.

my favorite The “Dinky” $350+

The Dinky crossbody is my absolute favorite in this cornflower light blue color. I love the stitching, mixed with the gunmetal and leather chain strap on the bag, it’s just gorgeous.

Spring is for Layering

It’s that time of the year where it’s freezing temperatures in the morning and by midday you’re burning up because it’s close to 80 degrees. So don’t put away those sweaters & cardigans up just yet, I’m going to show you how you can still wear them now in the early spring.

So what do you do, layer layer layer! I know it can be annoying to have all of these pieces on but I always felt like the more pieces you have the more chic you look. Some times you might hear about the “3 pieces rule”, where you add a top layer – cardigan, vest, scarf, statement necklace -just so you don’t look so basic.

Here I paired my new pinstriped shirtdress from Zara with a chunky oversize black sweater and some lace shorts with my go-to black booties from Old Navy.

Travel Diary: Orlando, Florida

No I am not in school and no I am not a teacher but yes, I do take a spring break. We all deserve a break every now & then. This year mom, sis, and I took a road trip down to sunny Orlando, Florida usually an 8 hour car drive (except during spring break smh), the drive back took 14! But it was a great family trip!

We decided while down in Orlando, we would take a trip to one of the local beaches so we took a drive east to Cocoa Beach just an hour away, known as Orlando’s beach. The weather was perfect, and the water was freezing! So we relaxed on the sand beside the pier ate ice cream, got our feet wet, and the sister and I got henna tattoos.

Our resort Westgate Villas & Town Center has so many on-site accommodations like a water park, bicycles, paddle boats, spa, restaurants, they literally have everything you can imagine.

This day turned into a lot of fun after going to the resort’s waterpark, little sis decided she wanted to go go-kart racing but Florida’s weather took a turn per usual and it started to storm so we went to Dave & Buster’s instead. I absolutely love arcade games and we had the time of our lives playing Dance Dance Revolution, basketball, and winning over 2000 tickets! We really had a lot of fun!

I could really see myself in Florida, but only once they get the lizards under control.

Next trip is to Pennsylvania in May. I’m super excited about it because I’ll be visiting my godmother in Hershey and hopefully get lots and lots of chocolate! ^_^
